Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the 9th National Moral Role Models

Since 2007, the Central Publicity Department, the Central Office for Spiritual Civilization, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have jointly organized a national selection and commendation event for Moral Models every two years. This initiative vigorously promotes and practices the core socialist values, fully leveraging the exemplary role of moral role models to uphold traditional Chinese virtues, foster positive social trends of our times, and continuously enhance the public’s ideological awareness, ethical standards, and cultural literacy. It encourages individuals to become active practitioners of noble morality, steadfast guardians of civilized conduct, and creative contributors to a better quality of life—thereby cultivating a vibrant societal atmosphere characterized by moral integrity, kindness, emulation of virtuous role models, and a global commitment to ethical excellence. With approval from central leaders, we are now launching the ninth round of the National Selection and Commendation Event for Moral Models. Details regarding this initiative are outlined below.
