Overview of the Plan:

Given that data preparation for city commercial banks is typically handled by UnionPay or the respective city commercial bank alliances, the following solution uses the processed data as its starting point. After downloading the data from UnionPay’s data center or the city commercial bank alliance’s data center, it is transferred via the bank’s internal network or other secure methods to the card-issuing equipment. The data then undergoes key processing and encryption/decryption using an encryption device before being loaded into the issuing equipment’s operational computer memory. Finally, the data is securely encrypted into ciphertext by the integrated, proprietary security software Smartsys, which then directs the card-issuing process—ensuring that no plaintext ever touches the physical card production stage throughout the entire workflow.
